Privacy Policy
Effective October 1, 2026
This policy explains what Tubiva handles when you use our website or mobile apps to research YouTube channels and videos.
Tubiva uses YouTube API Services. See Google’s Privacy Policy for Google’s data practices.
Information we handle
Account information such as your email address, password hash, name, and OAuth account identifier when you sign in with Google or Apple.
Tubiva content you request, including public YouTube channel and video metadata, transcripts, comments, and the resulting analysis, summaries, and originality signals.
Account activity needed to provide the service, such as saved channels, lists, history, notes, API-key metadata, and sessions. If you enable notifications, we also store your device push token, platform, and notification permission state.
Subscription and payment identifiers needed to provide paid features and support billing. We do not store your payment-card number.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate you, run channel and video analysis, show your saved work, provide paid features, deliver notifications you enable, protect the service, and respond to support requests.
Transcript-based analysis is limited to channels whose owners have authorized processing and to content you import yourself. Public metadata and comment sentiment remain available without transcript acquisition.
We do not sell personal information. We use HTTPS for data in transit and limit access to service providers and personnel who need it to operate Tubiva.
Service providers
Tubiva relies on providers such as Google and YouTube for sign-in and public source data, OpenRouter and the model providers selected by our server configuration for AI analysis, Apple and Google Play or RevenueCat for native subscriptions, a configured third-party payment processor for web checkout, Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service for mobile notifications, and OneSignal for web notifications when configured. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
If you enable web notifications, OneSignal processes your browser subscription, device and browser information, IP address, and notification delivery and interaction data. Tubiva links that subscription to your account on its own server; it does not send your email address, password, saved research, or account identifier to OneSignal. Signing out opts the browser subscription out of further notifications.
For research features that generate summaries, embeddings, sentiment, or chat responses, Tubiva may send the requested transcript text, video title, selected public metrics, and selected comment text to OpenRouter. OpenRouter routes requests to the configured model provider. Those providers may process inputs and outputs under their own data practices, so do not submit information you are not authorized to share. See https://openrouter.ai/privacy/ for OpenRouter's current disclosures.
Free source previews
The free channel source preview retrieves public metadata through YouTube API Services. Preview results are held in a short-lived server memory cache for up to fifteen minutes and are not saved to the research corpus. This preview does not send the retrieved text to an AI provider. Other research features have separate processing and storage behavior described in this policy.
Retention and your choices
We keep account and user-created data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can request account deletion at any time. Some records, such as transaction, fraud-prevention, or security records, may be retained where required by law or to resolve disputes.
To request access, correction, or deletion, email [email protected] from the email address on your account. See the account deletion instructions for the information we need to process a request.
Audience and third-party content
Tubiva is a general-audience service. It is not directed to children under 13, but people of any age may use it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us at [email protected] so we can review and remove it as required. YouTube content and links shown through Tubiva are provided by third parties; their practices are governed by their own policies.
